Team Tyron Celebration Event

Event Manager

 

Team Tyron Celebration Event was a fundraising event to raise funds for an Australian Rower, the seat fee for this young man is $8,500 plus other expenses.  The night incorporated sport, fashion, and underbelly guest speakers and had a private booth where guests could purchase a team Tyron T-shirt and have Tyron do signings and photos. This fully catered organic food event with complimentary beverages and a fabulous fashion parade raised $15,000 for the Australian Rower.

Tasks include

- Establish objectives and theme

- Set a date for Event night

- Create program and schedule for nights activities

- Oversee Team Tyron social Media pages

- Establish budget to include venue hire, catering, publicity, printing, insurance  and other costs

- Planning stage: Develop a timeline to include all major talks, assigning a task  deadline and responsible persons

- Site Inspection: Check lay-out, location, traffic flow and parking availability

- Organize services for the night: Photographers, videographers, Dj, guest  speakers, auctioneers,

catering (confirm menu selection), models, make-up and hair artist, designers and stylists, assistants,

lighting, audio, mock Police women (for front entrance, collecting tickets)

Organize appropriate advertising:  artwork, design, text approvals, printing

 

2012

A[WEAR] fundraising Event

Creative Director

The A[WEAR] Fundraising event raised over $50,000 for The Prahran Mission when it was held at the Whitehouse Institute of Design late last year (2012), A[WEAR] generated 400 guests on the night, was completely catered and supplied complimentary wine, champagne, beer and cocktails throughout the night. Incorporated into the night were a fabulous live band, DJ, light performances, break-dancing performers, fashion show, and guest speakers from within the creative industry. Entertainment, food and beverages, professionals, pop-up store garments and event space was all done through donations for a truly beautiful cause – to raise funds for homeless people.

Tasks include

- Photographing street wear looks daily for A[WEAR] social media pages

- Organizing photography and videographer professionals

- Organizing professional/agency standard models for fashion show

- Organizing well-known Melbourne and international designers to supply      garments for fashion show

- Organizing make-up artist and hair stylist professions for fashion show

- Organizing stylists professionals

- Running and maintaining all social media pages for

- Overseeing all creative direction

- Organizing and directing over 50 creative professionals before and on the night  of Event 

- Transforming and styling Pop-up clothing space. The Pop-up store was located within the event space, situated in a separate room. The room was completely bare, after working out a general theme for the pop-up store it was then transformed into a mini op-shop for guests to purchase all donated garments from well-known designers to second-loved clothing on the night. The pop-up store was a huge success and all garments were sold, contributing a large sum of money to the Prahran Mission.
