20 Shades of Purple

Let's be real here, it’s difficult to remember the last time I coloured my hair in an overly confident shade of purple, when I say it's difficult to remember I'm insinuating that I've never coloured my hair so outrageously attention grabbing in my life. My instagram archives and a few dodgy Iphoto folders would indicate that it has never happened and this is me turning a new slightly off coloured green leaf.

Luckily for me and my inability to peroxide my locks the purple rebelliousness can be reversed within a few washes. In the meantime at least 200 selfies is understandable and accepted. Nothing better than having purple hair for the day and pretending that you're some muso who's hit the jack-pot, nothing.. Don’t even try comparing this feeling to anything, besides having purple hair, being an actual famous musician and riding a unicorn. Therefore in that scenario; you win.

Fortunately for me, I successfully pulled off the purple hair frenzy, and dayum did I enjoy it. For anyone that’s asking, the hair colour isn’t permanent, and it’s really not that hard to find or apply. It’s actually easier than finding a good fresh produce market that sells food at a reasonable price in Sydney, let me tell you; that has proven to be extremely difficult.

Thanks to my buddy Cossie Mo from Cossie Mo Hair in Prahran, Melbourne I was able to transform my locks into something similar to a mermaid, if you’re wondering what the brand of this wonderful purple power colour is, it’s from the guys at L’Oreal.
